World Ducati Week announced

If you ever needed another reason to visit Italy this is it, World Ducati Week. Now that the 2010 MotoGP and SBK calendars have been published, the date for WDW has been set and, after a three-year wait, countless Ducati enthusiasts can now put the 10th to 13th June 2010 in their diaries.

The Italian Misano World Circuit will once again host proceedings, and during the four-day period Ducati will offer a rich programme of fun-filled, action-packed and bike-themed events. Shows, track tests, special appearances by riders and stuntmen, bike tours, visits to the Ducati museum and factory, historic bike exhibitions, conferences and, above all, the congregation of the world’s Ducatisti, the undisputed stars of the show.

Honda MotoKids hits Australia in 2010

A brand new initiative for junior fun-bike riders is about to be launched on Australian soils in January 2010.

A first ever for Australia, Honda MotoKids combines enjoyment and learning with riding, organized coaching drills, and controlled games/activities during the daily schedule.

Sydney Motorcycle Show – it’s show time!

The Sydney Motorcycle Show will be kicking off from 10am Friday the 20th. For some of us that is just too far off, so here is a taste of what it is to come.

In what is a world first, visitors will have the opportunity to see the production version of the Fischer MRX, an all-new US-designed and manufactured sports bike.

Featuring a world-first one-piece Grand Prix chassis, the ‘American Exotic’ is an ex-AMA Superbike rider’s local answer to a motorcycle market dominated by Japanese and European manufacturers.

ASBK family ticket giveaway

To celebrate the final round of ASBK at Phillip Island next weekend (27-29th November), BikeAdvice are giving away five family weekend passes (valued at $80 each) to the event.

The tickets allow two adults and three children access to the event on Saturday and Sunday (Friday entry is free of charge), and with three riders vying for a championship win, the competition couldn’t be closer.

Sydney Motorcycle Show to kick off Friday

The Sydney Motorcycle Show is on again this weekend from Friday the 20th to Sunday the 22nd at Sydney’s Olympic Park.

The show will have plenty to offer the motorcycling public with in excess of 400 new motorcycles lining the exhibits of over 16 of the world’s most renowned manufacturers. Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Kawasaki, BMW Motorrad, KTM, Ducati, Triumph, Hyosung, Piaggio, Vespa, Gilera, Victory, Harley-Davidson, MV Agusta and Husqvarna will all be present to give punters a hands on look at their latest offerings.

Yamaha MX riders visit Sunshine Coast

Yamaha’s all-conquering factory motocross teams will meet with fans and sign autographs at motorcycle dealerships on the Sunshine Coast this Friday in the leadup to the final round of the MX Nationals at Coolum.
